22lb Pike and a Salmon

Jonny landed another massive pike weiging in at 22lb and also managed to get a salmon which went for a dead bait (stranger things have happened) The picture of the Pike hasn't reached me but the salmon that was caught is below. Another great expedition some excellent catchs. That means so far this year there has been two 20's and a salmon! other members may get the rods out and get a 20 on the Bank. Great result!!

Richie Has Done it!!!!!

Last week Richie has landed his first 20lb pike. After a a long wait and hundreds of expeditions he landed a 23lb Pike, Well Done. Whats next then a 30??

This is a weather picture of the skies above the River Bann in Portadown while the Valley Pikers endured a rough night of camping, unbrella's, tents and sanity all lost on a wicked night on the river bank, Whens the next campin trip lol

This wasn't caught recently but it is such a good pike!! Great Catch!!

Working Progress

Trying to get as much stuff gathered together to put up on the gallery as there is very little there and possibly get a new host as the current one seems very unreliable. As Pike fishing kicks into top gear I am sure there will be plenty to report in the upcoming weeks as the pike get bagged so watch this space!

Update

There is still loads of stuff to be added to the site, there is a new photos section along the right hand side, it is bad at the min cause there is mainly photos of me, boring but simply waiting to get my hands on a good selection of photos from all the members and when i get them they will be up and the others down, my photos were in really just to test the gallery. Plenty more features planned to be added, an events calender for the members is one that is nearly complete, watch this space.

Slimey Eel

The camping trip at the weekend produced no pike at all. The club turned its hand to course fishing and as a result landed a huge eel amonst a massive net of roach, perch, bream and the likes. I have a load of pics to post up but have no lead for the camera in work here so later on the night they should be up.

The Weekend Is Near

As the weekend gets reeled in the big decision on the Valley Pikers minds is what venue to attack at the weekend. With fishing not so great at the minute it will be a hard one but no doubt someone will come up with a winner. First 20lb of the year maybe???
